Rheumatoid Arthritis Self-Scheduler
To qualify for this study, participants must:
- Be 18-64 years old
- Be diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Be able to stay in clinic for scheduled overnight visits
- BMI between 18.5 – 32 [to calculate: Click here]
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding if female
- If you are a woman of childbearing potential or a man whose partner is of childbearing potential, you must agree to use effective birth control from the time of signing the informed consent form (ICF) until 21 days after the last dose
- Be a non-smoker for at least the past year
- Have completed a COVID-19 vaccine regimen in the past 5 months or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine 1 week before the screening visit
- Not take any prescribed or over-the-counter medications other than permitted medications including: antimalarials; nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs including selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors at approved dosage, and low dose oral corticosteroids (prednisone ≤ 10 mg/day or equivalent); methotrexate ≤ 25 mg by mouth (PO) or subcutaneous (SC) weekly concomitantly with folic acid or folinic acid.
- Not have a significant history of drug allergies
- Not have a current or recent (within 14 days prior to the Screening Visit) history of uncontrolled, clinically significant infectious, hematological, renal, endocrine, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, hepatic, psychiatric, neurologic, or allergic disease
- Not have a history of drug and alcohol abuse within 6 months of the screening visit
- Not test positive for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and/or HIV
- Not have a history or evidence of cardiopathy, acute coronary syndrome, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, or QT prolongation syndrome
- Not donate blood or have experienced acute blood loss of greater than 500 mL within 3 months of the first dose of the study drug
- Not have a known immunodeficiency disorder. Have a history of a major organ transplant or hematopoietic stem cell/marrow transplant
- Not have a chronic liver disease or liver impairment
- Not have a history of tuberculosis
- Not have a history of any lymphoproliferative disorder (such as but not limited to leukemia)
- Not have or a history of cancer (except treated or excised non-metastatic basal cell or squamous cell cancer of the skin or cervix)
- Not have a history of Gout, Lyme disease or history of any other auto-immune rheumatic diseases other than Sjogren’s syndrome
- Not have major surgery or planned within 30 days prior to screening visit
- Not have a history of fainting or family history of sudden death
- Not have a history of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and/or pulmonary embolism
