Chronic Kidney Disease Self-Scheduler

To qualify for this study, participants must:

  • Be 18-75 years of age
  • Have a BMI of 18.5-45 (Click here to calculate)
  • Have Stage 2-5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding and willing to use contraception if female of childbearing potential
    • Males with female partner(s) of childbearing potential must also be willing to use contraception
  • Be post-menopausal with at least 12 months of no menstrual cycle or at least 6 weeks following surgical menopause (bilateral oophorectomy or hysterectomy)
  • Not have concurrent or planned treatment, or treatment within 30 days before screening for anemia
    • Treatment includes Erythropoietin Stimulating Agents, IV iron, or blood transfusion
  • Not have history of iron overload
  • Not have inherited blood disorders or intrinsic red blood cell defects associated with anemia
  • History of spleen removal
  • Not have received a blood transfusion within 3 months of screening
  • Not have had a bone marrow or organ transplantEx
  • Not have had a history of anemia from a B12 or folate deficiency, infection, or bleeding in the last 3 months
  • Not have had a stroke, heart attack, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), or blood clots in the last 6 months
  • Not have had any major surgery within 8 weeks or not be recovered from any previous surgery
  • Not have a history of cancer in the last 3 years
    • Except for: basal or squamous cell carcinoma, carcinoma in situ of the cervix, carcinoma in situ of the breast, history of prostate cancer
  • Not have participated in any other clinical study in the last 30 days
  • Not have Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV
  • Not have a history or known severe reaction to vaccine
  • Not have a history of uncontrolled heart disease
  • Not have a history of uncontrolled fungal, bacterial, or viral infection
  • Not have uncontrolled Diabetes requiring insulin
